A kayak instructor built this little gem in the woods by simply collecting and gathering materials from both a recycling yard and old wood from the surrounding forest. Schulz says he took most of his inspiration from Japanese Architecture, he wanted to keep his design simple and natural, keeping a lot of the forms created by the wood itself.
You can see the nature grounded within the space, giving it a wonderful character that reflects the woodland perfectly. The simple detail on the stairs, fireplace and in the kitchen is just beautiful. The square framed simplistic windows show an incredible view of the luscious wildlife that surrounds the house.
What a blissful place to live for only £11,000!
