Growing the worlds largest vertical garden

Patric Blanc is building the worlds largest green wall in Central Park, sydney. His design connects plant life with the built environment.  This amazing vertical garden extends over the 6,400 square-meter Central Park. The eclectic  wall is home to of 190 native Australian and 160 exotic plant species, covering about 50% of the entire building. According to Blanc, the design represents the visual aspects of a cliffside “a giant slice out of the Blue Mountains and put it in the middle of the city.”

You can see from these stunning images, the positive effect, this spectacular wall will have on the surrounding area visually. – bringing extraordinary beauty and life to an urban building.
